Rachel S Kardos is a writer and art enthusiast who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her daughter, and cat Jeffrey. Rachel combined her love of science and art to bring Henri's and Michel's friendship and adventures to life.
'Henri the Snail and the Watering Pail' is a window into the friendship that develops between Henri and Michel. I wanted the audience to experience this adventure between Henri and Michel, in order to give them a better understanding why the two characters' true friendship is not bound by distance or obstacles they encounter later in the book, 'Henri the Snail Who Came by Mail'.
