Rachel Hendrix is a filmmaker based in Atlanta, Georgia. After obtaining a BFA in photography, she lived in Switzerland for five years before landing a role in her first feature film, the indie gem "October Baby", which opened up 2nd in the country per screen-average behind "The Hunger Games". Hendrix then acted in over thirty films and episodes before slowing down to raise her son and pursue interests on the other side of the camera.

Rachel strives for authenticity and enjoys experimenting with metaphor to demonstrate both spiritual and emotional realities of the human experience. In hopes to create relatability in those areas, she currently works as a producer for Rising Act Films to help champion films that raise awareness and engage advocacy around human issues. Their films have had significant, quantifiable impact and have been seen and shared all around the US and worldwide.

Rachel speaks broken German, loves sunshine in the Winter, and tries to go on two international trips a year with her husband Daniel and 4-year old son, Harbour.
