Raabia Hussain a Multi-Award Winning Adventure Filmmaker who has completed her Degree at the Northern Film School. At a young age, she fell in love with Filmmaking and made it her career of dreams. Now she is recognised as an International Award-Winning Filmmaker. Being Deaf means that she lives and breaths in pictures, quite literally for her to help explain the emotions and reaction that human display without thinking. Raabia has a long passion for becoming a Natural History and Wildlife filmmaker. Raabia has worked on numerous mainstream documentaries and projects with an internationally well-known broadcaster, ITV. Her roles included directing, producing documentaries, and working on programmes including “This Is Deaf”. Her work has addressed issues such as Mental Health, Disability, de-stigmatising, inclusivity and the importance of activism that she travelled and created a short documentary, “Unheard Stories: Kenya” this is the story of Kenyans’ deaf and disabled.
