The "Rendacon Animation Film Festival" is a vibrant gathering of talented animators from around Africa, coming together to celebrate the art of animation. This event is a captivating showcase of creativity and innovation in the world of animated filmmaking.

This is the third edition of Rendacon with the Theme "Navigating the Jungle of Animation" which will take place on the 6th and 7th of March 2024 at the Ebonylife Event Place, Victoria Island, Lagos State. At Rendacon, animators have the unique opportunity to present their masterpieces on the big screen, captivating audiences with their unique storytelling and visual brilliance.

It's a platform for both seasoned professionals and emerging talents to share their works, exchange ideas, and forge meaningful connections in the animation industry.

1. CRITERIA
Works submitted for Rendacon Animation Film Festival must be done by Africans either as a studio or as an individual, must have been produced between january 2023 till date and must not be longer than 20 minutes.

2. COMPETITION
Submissions must indicate category under which the work is being submitted. Each submission must be entered separately. However, we reserve the right to place a submission into a different category where we deem necessary. Submissions must indicate rating, whether they are G, PG, PG 13 or 18.

3. All films must be in English an be subtitled in English

5. Films must be submitted preferably in MP4 HD, 1920 x 1080p.

6. By submitting your film, you grant permission to Rendacon Animation Film Festival (RAFF) to add your film to our screening catalogue online and also use your film for promotional use.

7. You also confirm that you have the rights to the project submitted and indemnify RAFF of any legal action that may arise from our access/use of such content.

8. You also agree that the decisions of the jury for this festival is final, and you cannot enter into litigation against the festival in whatsoever reason because your film wasn't selected.
