Queer Here Cinema is an event night created with the purpose of providing the LGBTQ2S+ film community an environment where everyone can feel empowered, appreciated, and seen. Come for the films, have a drink, kiki after.
We are looking for Queer-Positive Films with main characters and/or creators who identify as LGBTQ2S+ from all genres, from around the world.

Queer Here Cinema takes place at stache WeHo.
Having this event in a nightclub motivated by our belief in transforming the space into more than just a weekend hangout but also into a hub for gathering and celebrating our artistic talents and hard work.
Stache is inspired by the underground and hidden spaces once necessary for the lgbtq+ community to gather—a rugged industrial warehouse with clean modern elements. Conveniently located, stache is in the midst of some of the best nightlife the city has to offer. Equipped with a 20 ft digital TV wall for your work to be screened on, your audience can enjoy the large outdoor patio, 360 degree bar, dining room, and dance the night away after the festival!

Depending on short length, we will select 4-6 shorts per month. Once submitted, if not selected, your short will be considered for future events (w/no additional fees) and we will communicate dates and times for the event.

When films get made, it happens by small groups of like minded, goal oriented, passionate people. It's never an easy task, and there are obstacles and factors that will put the vision to the test. It is challenging, but when the final product is ready for an audience, it's the greatest reward.
For this reason, all films are submitted as winners and the prize is a space to showcase it to a live audience in the heart of West Hollywood.

The festival was such an awesome experience that I hope I can enter my film into their future festivals! The programmers were extremely friendly and did a supreme job when communicating necessary information to me! Their goal of queer filmmakers collaborating was evident! Five stars all the way around!
