The Terms and Conditions, together with any documents incorporated by reference, represent the agreement between Quramo Productions Limited (“Quramo) and You, regulating the sharing of Content (Your short film) on Qshorts and how the Content shared on Qshorts will be used by Quramo.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may refrain from sharing Content on Qshorts.

PURPOSE
QShorts is a free-to-view channel on YouTube for screening Content submitted by You as determined by Quramo at its sole discretion.

Content Submission
You hereby agree to submit your Content to be screened on Qshorts at the sole discretion of Quramo.

The Content submitted to be screened on Qshorts will meet the quality standards and submission guidelines established by Quramo from time-to-time for eligibility.

1) Clear sound
2) Clear visual
3) Good story - social stories must not come across like a public service address, it must have a proper story and flow
4) Continuity
5) Quality of Acting
6) Film must be without watermark
7) Submitters must add a reachable phone number and email address to their profile.
8) Film must be uploaded directly to the FilmFreeway Platform and not via any other medium such as: Youtube or Vimeo.
9) Film must be set to download and not put on private.

Content submitted to Qshorts will be available for viewing on the Channel for a period of six (6) months from the date Quramo accepts the Content to be screened on QShorts.

The Content will be taken down from the Channel into the archives section of the Channel at the expiration of the sixth (6th) month referred to above. Provided that Quramo may reinstate such Content for viewership on the Channel at any time without prior notification to You.

Top viewed Films from each month will be screened at The Q Creative Festival in October. You will be notified of such screening

Quramo reserves the right to approve or reject any Content submitted for screening on the Channel.

You will indemnify Quramo against all claims and actions that may be brought against Quramo should the submitted Content infringe on third part(ies) rights.

You consent to Quramo advertising your short film in various ways and on various platforms to attract viewers to the channel.

Rights and Ownership
You represent and warrant that you own the intellectual property rights to the Content submitted for screening on the Channel, including the music that is synchronized with the Content.

You represent and warrant that the rights referred to above include the right to screen the Content in all territories where YouTube is operational.

You hereby grant a non-exclusive right to Quramo to negotiate and licence the Content to other for-profit channel or entities for a fee. Provided that upon the successful licensing of the Content, Quramo will pay You seventy percent (70%) of the licence fee.

Advertisement
Quramo will run promotions for the channel as a whole and your film ( when released on the Channel)

The Channel will run advertisements before or after every Content screened on the Channel to cover operational costs. You will not be entitled to revenue generated through advertisements run on the Channel.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Quramo harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your choice to submit Content to the Channel.

Release Statement
You grant Quramo the non-exclusive right to display the Content on Qshorts and to use the Content on Qshorts for the Purpose stated herein, online and/or via other digital/print methods; and to authorize such use as may be deemed necessary to achieve the Purpose stated herein.

You confirm and assure that the content is created by you, and its use by Quramo for the specified purpose will not violate the intellectual property or personal data rights of any third party.
You declare that you have obtained all required permissions and consents, understanding that Quramo is not responsible for any consequences if you failed to secure clearances before agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

You declare that you possess the licensing rights for all music used. These licenses must include online usage rights, covering platforms like YouTube, and should extend to all territories. You are required to furnish formal licenses to address any claims that may arise.

Miscellaneous
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire understanding between Quramo and You concerning the submission, usage, and distribution of the Content you submit to be screened on Qshorts.

By submitting Content to QShorts, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be updated without prior notice to You.
