Psychedelics in the Beehive is a multi-day film festival dedicated to showcasing artistic, educational, expressive, and explorative works that spotlight psychedelics in all their facets—from cultural and spiritual to scientific and therapeutic.

Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker or just starting out, we welcome submissions that inspire positive change and broaden perspectives on the psychedelic experience.

Alongside screenings, attendees can enjoy panel discussions, filmmaker Q&As, workshops, and special guest speakers. Expect a professional, playful, and inclusive atmosphere celebrating cinematic innovation and creativity.

Awards for the best in each category will be given at the festival.

This festival aims to highlight the creations of emerging independent filmmakers, both from the United States and around the globe. It focuses on independent short films and short documentaries.

Subtitles:
All films should have English subtitles, to be inclusive of those with hearing deficits and those with audio-processing delays.

Notification:
Films selected for screening will be notified on or around December 1, 2025.

Submission Fee:
Entry Fee paid when submitting.
Entry fees are non-refundable.

Terms:
- All accepted films may be screened more than once, and are scheduled at the discretion of the Psychedelics in the Beehive Film Festival staff.
- It is the responsibility of the filmmaker to secure authorization for any copyrighted material that may be used in the film.
- Psychedelics in the Beehive is held harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, or screening of any film.
- Psychedelics in the Beehive does not pay screening fees or guarantee travel for filmmakers.
