🎥 Event Description
Screen your film at the iconic Picturehouse Central, London, in front of some of the UK’s leading talent agents actively seeking to discover new voices and expand their rosters.
This special re:PRESENT screening, presented by Primetime, spotlights the work of women, non-binary, and gender-expansive filmmakers and DoPs, connecting underrepresented talent with meaningful industry opportunities.
The event will take place on 14th January 2026 and will feature a 90 - 120 minute screening, followed by filmmaker introductions + short Q&A and informal networking with attending agents over tea and coffee.
To maximise the opportunity for representation following the event, Primetime is collaborating with agents ahead of time to understand which kinds of filmmakers, creatives and stories they are currently seeking. Their feedback will play an integral role in curating the final line-up, ensuring that each participating filmmaker is paired with agents most aligned with their creative vision and career trajectory.
This is more than an event, it’s a bridge between emerging voices and the industry gatekeepers who can help amplify them.
🎞️ Selection Process
Primetime works closely with participating agents to understand which filmmakers and stories they’re currently seeking to represent. Feedback from agencies such as Casarotto Ramsay emphasises openness to a wide range of genres, from comedy to horror and beyond, with a preference for work that has a distinct creative hook or strong storytelling voice.
Casarotto and other participating agents are particularly keen to champion queer creatives and filmmakers from backgrounds underrepresented in the industry, especially those who are a few shorts into their careers and now developing longform projects.
All submissions are viewed in full by the Primetime programming team, with final selections made in consultation with participating agents. A longlist of standout submissions will be recognised on @primetime.network, with selected films screened at Picturehouse Central and included in a digital library shared with all participating agents.
