Premio Ermanno Olmi

The competition includes:
Ermanno Olmi 1st Prize: €1200
Ermanno Olmi 2nd Prize: €600
Ermanno Olmi 3rd Prize: €400

A special mention will also be assigned to the most significant film dedicated to theme, chosen by the municipal administration, "Living in the World": the relationship between people and the places they inhabit. Ermanno Olmi always explored how landscapes shape human identity. How can the connection between individuals and territories/places be portrayed, between memory and urban and rural transformation? What does it mean today to feel part of a place?
The winner of the mention will be awarded a cash prize worth €300 offered by FIC - Federazione Italiana Cineforum.
Cash prizes are awarded to the directors of the winning works; all amounts are intended as gross, before the deduction of taxes.

The director of each finalist film will be invited to attend the Festival and hosted in Bergamo for one night. The invitation is strictly personal. Travel expenses for the director will be reimbursed within the limits and the terms established by the Prize.

3° premio Ermanno Olmi: 400 €

Verrà inoltre assegnata una menzione speciale all’opera più significativa che rifletta sul tema, scelto dall’Amministrazione comunale, "Abitare il mondo": il rapporto tra le persone e i luoghi che abitano. Ermanno Olmi ha sempre osservato come il paesaggio plasmi l'identità umana. Come si può raccontare il legame tra individui e territori/luoghi, tra memoria e trasformazione urbana e rurale? Cosa significa oggi sentirsi parte di un luogo?

Al vincitore della menzione verrà assegnato un premio in denaro del valore di 300€ offerto da FIC – Federazione Italiana Cineforum.
I premi in denaro vengono attribuiti ai registi delle opere vincitrici; tutti i premi sono da intendersi al lordo delle imposte.

Il regista di ogni film finalista sarà invitato a partecipare al Festival e ospitato a Bergamo per una notte. L’invito per il regista è strettamente personale. Le spese di viaggio, per il solo regista, saranno rimborsate nei limiti e nelle modalità stabilite dal Premio.
