St Agnes Marine Conservation Group hosts the first ever Porthtowan Local Ocean Film Festival.

Films will highlight our amazing local marine environment and all the many ways that people connect with our oceans. The festival celebrates the power of film to inspire, educate, and motivate audiences to protect and preserve our environment.

We will be showcasing films from across the south west but particularly from our local area. We cannot wait to share the beautiful and diverse range of films that we have selected and to give you the opportunity to meet and ask questions of the filmmakers.

The festival will take place close to the beach on a big screen in the village hall. It runs from Saturday afternoon through to the evening with a fully stocked bar and wonderful local vegan food available on site.

The event is hosted and compered by St Agnes Marine Conservation Group and the programme includes discussion time and breaks for everyone to chat and eat good food.

We can't wait to see you there, you are sure to come away feeling inspired!

1. Registration is free. All proceeds from ticket sales will be split between St Agnes Marine Conservation Group and Porthtowan Village Hall
2. All films must be suitable for a general audience which may include minors.
