Pooja graduated from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata with a Post Graduate degree in Cinematography. She has independently lensed a diverse range of fiction and non-fiction projects and has also contributed as a key member of Cinematography teams on various long format projects, spanning both Independent and Commercial productions.
Her creative vision is deeply influenced by interdisciplinary art forms and sciences, including painting, poetry, architecture, and the Jungian analysis of the unconscious. Pooja is passionate about reimagining and crafting cinematic worlds by delving into their subtle nuances.
Her films have been screened at festivals like Chicago South Asian Film Festival, Bangalore Short Film festival, Emami Experimental Art Festival, Pune Short film Festival, Indian Film Festival Bhubaneswar, Student World Impact Film Festival, Imagine India Film Festival, Kriti Film Club, Chennai International Short film Festival.
