The Chicago AI Film Festival is now reimagined and produced by the creators of Playground Pastime, a visionary movement at the intersection of AI, culture, and innovation. This is not a continuation of any previous festival under this name.

Chicago AI Film Festival hosted by Playground Pastime is a contest celebrating diversity, imagination, and innovation! Unlike the Playground Pastime AI Film Contest, this festival will have a live event in Chicago to showcase winning submissions.

Though a competition, this is also a movement designed to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities, challenge AI bias, and showcase the limitless possibilities of AI-generated storytelling.

Whether you're an experienced AI creator or just stepping into the world of AI-driven filmmaking, this is your stage to tell the stories that deserve to be seen. We are looking for visionary creators who use AI to push the boundaries of creativity, culture, and representation.

Join us in redefining how AI is used in film. This is where technology meets authenticity, and storytelling to break barriers.
