Philip J. Cook has written, directed, edited and/or photographed numerous commercials, films, program opens and on-air IDs. He holds a degree from the University of Maryland in film production and has won several awards, including a Clio, Tellies, Pollies, Muse, and National Cine Eagles, as well as several indie feature film festival awards.

Cook has written twelve screenplays, six of which have been made into movies. At the age of 24, he was writer/director of the feature film OUTERWORLD aka STAR QUEST which debuted on the SyFy Channel. In 1994, he directed the feature film INVADER, which has been seen on HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime as well as all over the world. In 1998, he wrote, directed and produced the made-for-video feature DESPISER, which is in its second DVD release. Cook has extensive experience in special effects design and photography and formed Eagle Films in 1995. He has created and designed visual effects and animations for feature films, commercials, and corporate image pieces, as well as museum content. Fourteen of his animations are currently on permanent display at the National Museum of the American Indian.

Phil's experience as a story teller, tempered by his understanding of budgets, schedules and the need to put every production dollar on the screen allows him to provide his clients with creative coherency, maximized efficiency, and top production value.

Currently he is the producer, director, and writer of MALICE, an original series that has received over 5 million views and plays on Hulu.
