Pierre Paturel AKA Peter the Moon is a French director and animator, specializing in music videos and stop motion animation. Born in Lyon, he has nurtured his passion for art since his early years. After receiving training in graphic design, he embarked on a journey, living in several cities including Dakar, Berlin, and Istanbul, where he pursued photography, music, and experimental filmmaking.

His career began over five years ago in the music industry, where he worked as a graphic designer and director, creating visual identities and music videos for various music groups.

During his journey in the music industry, he discovered a true passion for stop motion animation. Fascinated by the technique's ability to breathe life into inanimate objects, he delved deep into the study of animation, honing his skills in puppetry and creating animated worlds. Several of his animated music videos have won awards worldwide, including the Bugia Film Festival, the Festival del Cinema di Cefalù (Italy), and the Flick Festival (United States).
