Stories allow us to transcend time and place, shape our perspective on what it means to be human. When you enter a story, something magical happens, and for me entering a story on screen is where the greatest magic of all happens.

Peter Salisbury is a Dublin-based filmmaker and screenwriter, with a particular interest in the personal drama. He was born and raised in the northwest of England, where he studied Drama. While a student, he directed several theatre productions, one of which went to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has over twenty years experience working as a cinematographer specialising in documentary and film-style video production for broadcast TV and corporate clients. Since moving to Ireland, Peter has been working as an indie filmmaker. His films include 'Scenes from the Ballindoon Cafe' (2013), 'Poetry from the Wall' (2015) and 'Emigrant Song' (2018).
