PET CARPET FILM FESTIVAL REGULATION
1. Registration for the Pet Carpet Film Festival Competition is free and is done by:
A) Sending an edited or unpublished short film, in MP4 or MOV format, to the email address petcarpetfestival@gmail.com (up to 25 Mb via e- mail, as well as with Wetransfer) with a maximum weight of 2GB, with indication of personal data and contact details
B) From our Facebook page via Messenger
C) Here, on FilmFreeway portal, clicking on submit buttom.
The maximum length of the movie must be 4 (four) minutes including any credits. All short films uploaded and / or sent in a different format or with a duration exceeding 4 (four) minutes will be automatically excluded from the Competition. The short films submitted can be professional but also amateur. In case you plan to shoot the video with a smartphone it is recommended to use it in a horizontal position. All videos must indicate an opening title and closing credits, with mention of the protagonists, authors and direction, etc. (in the hypothesis the various figures exist). The personal data sent will be processed by the Organization in compliance with current legislation (GDPR EU Reg. No. 679/2016 - Legislative Decree 101/2018) and for the sole purpose of participating in the Competition.
2. All the short films sent will become part of the Festival archive and the author and / or the owner of the rights to use the short film by registering for the Competition authorizes, without claiming any compensation, the Organization to insert of his work in the Festival archive, as well as giving his consent to the publication of the work, in full and / or partial format, on the website www.petcarpetfestival.it and on the relative social networks of the Festival. The author and / or the owner of the rights to use the short film by registering for the Competition also authorizes, without claiming any compensation, the Organization to screen the work at the Final, if the same is selected, as well as , to the communication and dissemination of the work, in full and / or partial format, to the media and / or the press for promotional and advertising purposes of the Festival, also in conjunction with sponsors of the event.
3. The Final of the Pet Carpet Film Festival Competition will take place in Rome and applications for participation must be received, together with the sending and / or uploading of the short film with which you are competing, no later than midnight on 10 July 2021. L The Organization reserves the right to bring forward or postpone the deadline.
4. The list of shorts selected for the Festival will be published on the website www.petcarpetfestival.it and on the relative social networks of the Festival 3 (three) days before the Final and all selected participants will be notified by the Organization by email.
5. The selection of the short films that will participate in the Final will be at the sole discretion of the Organization.
6. On the occasion of the Final, a Jury, made up of members identified by the Organization, will decide, at its sole discretion, the winning works in the relative categories, divided as follows: Best Short, World Associations, Daily Testimonials, Commercials (in which an image is shown and positive or useful message for animals).
Any detailed information on the categories provided by the organization will be available on the Festival website and / or on the related social networks.
