In the beginning, cinema was an escape and a second home for me: I grew up in a busy video store belonging to my family, a place that no longer exists and within which the stories of the films overlapped, sometimes with wonderful timing. to those of the people who frequented it. Then the cinema was a refuge from the tragedies of growing up and relentless becoming an adult, often without my knowledge and against my will; those were the years of the film school, the Zelig of Bolzano, a time suspended between the discovery of the technical mechanisms and the humanity that the big screen tells, whatever form of narration we decide to attribute to it. But it was also the time of the awareness of storytelling, perhaps the first absolute form of socialization that humanity has known after community work, and of how the power of images lead the public to the identification of feeling what they see; a magic that still today, certainly more aware but at the same time disillusioned, still surprises me, marveling me. Today, as already said, is the time of full awareness of my means and abilities and cinema and audiovisual are my profession, my job, that job that you get up happy to do and that almost makes you say that after all I have never really "worked" in the classic sense of the term. I was lucky enough to hear stories and tell them through my vision and interpretation of the world, my cine-eye.
And if you want me to bore you further with dates and events, in 2007 I graduated from the "ZeLIG - School for documentary, TV and new media" in direction and production and in 2008 I directed "He - Helium", an experimental documentary shot in Serbia themed young people and the rubble of war, which won the DOC / It award and 30 other awards around the world (including a Serbian film retrospective in Washington DC). In 2009, together with two partners, we founded Peperonitto Film, a film and audiovisual production house with which in 2012 we were nominated in the five David finalists with the short film “LAO” by Gabriele Sabatino Nardis. In 2015 we instead produced "L’OMBRA DI CAINO", with the support of the AFC, and we participate in more than 80 festivals around the world. In 2020 LUPO + AGNELLO was born, then produced in June 2021, which also marks my return to directing. In the meantime, I have dedicated myself to audiovisual, advertising and school projects for teaching a necessary education in the image and audiovisual, creating courses, workshops and small productions.
