REQUISITOS DE POSTULACIÓN:
● Los cortometrajes cuyo idioma original no sea el español, deberán tener obligatoriamente en sus copias de visionado subtítulos en español y/o inglés. Así mismo, de ser seleccionados deberán enviar una copia del cortometraje subtitulado al español, ya sea incrustados o en un archivo .srt
● Las copias de proyección deberán estar una resolución mínima de 1920x1080 con códec H.264 y formato .mp4
● Si el cortometraje es seleccionado deberá enviar Press Kit básico o material promocional (Poster, fotogramas, tráiler, fotografía del director)
RECONOCIMIENTOS: Conociendo lo importante que es estimular la producción cinematográfica para los festivales, el Penitente Film Fest entregará el certificado a cada uno de los ganadores de las diferentes categorías. Además, se hará envío de certificaciones oficiales y los laureles correspondientes.
JURADOS: Para cada uno de las competencias habrá un jurado oficial conformado por cineastas nacionales, críticos, programadores y/o personas relacionadas con la cultura. Serán los encargados de declarar los ganadores, así como dar reconocimientos especiales según corresponda.
RESULTADOS: Los seleccionados serán notificados por la producción del festival el 15 de septiembre. El enviar el archivo de proyección será tomado como un compromiso de participación. La lista de los seleccionados se dará a conocer semanas antes al inicio del festival a través de las redes sociales Facebook e Instagram.
CONDICIONES:
Por el hecho de realizar la inscripción a través de esta plataforma, los responsables de los derechos de exhibición de las películas seleccionadas aceptan que las mismas se proyecten a traves de las redes sociales del festival o en las diferentes actividades enmarcadas en el desarrollo del Penitente Film Fest. Así mismo aceptan completamente el contenido de las presentes bases, toda duda será resuelta por la dirección del Festival.
El material enviado pasará a hacer parte del archivo del festival. Para posibles proyecciones posteriores e itinerantes se solicitará el permiso correspondiente a los realizadores.
El Festival no se hace responsable de posibles infracciones relacionadas con los derechos de autor.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Knowing how important it is to stimulate film production for festivals, Penitente Film Fest will give a certificate to each of the winners of the different categories. In addition, official certificates and the corresponding laurels will be sent.
JURIES: For each of the competitions there will be an official jury made up of national filmmakers, critics, programmers, and people related to culture. They will be in charge of declaring the winners and giving special acknowledgments as appropriate.
RESULTS: The festival production will notify those selected on September 15th. Sending the screening file will be taken as a commitment to participate. The list of those selected will be announced weeks before the start of the festival through the social networks Facebook and Instagram.
CONDITIONS:
By registering through this platform, those responsible for the exhibition rights of the selected films accept that they will be screened through the social networks of the festival or in the different activities framed in the development of the Penitente Film Fest. Likewise, they fully accept the content of the present rules, and the Festival management will solve any doubt.
The material sent will become part of the festival's archive. For possible subsequent and itinerant screenings, permission will be requested from the filmmakers.
