Pegasus Presents: Kinetic

Pegasus Presents is a curated screening series highlighting emerging and established filmmakers of all ages from the Dallas–Fort Worth creative community. Produced by Pegasus Media Project, this series creates space for local artists to share their work, connect with other creatives, and engage in conversations about filmmaking and storytelling.

Each edition of Pegasus Presents is themed and hosted in partnership with a community organization or creative venue. For Volume 2, Pegasus Media Project is proud to partner with 4DWN Skate Park, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of youth, families, and the environment through recreation, education, cultivation, and conservation.

The theme for this screening is KINETIC.

We invite filmmakers and artists from the DFW area to submit work that explores movement, energy, rhythm, and motion in any form. This theme is open to interpretation and may include skate films, music videos, dance films, experimental work, sports films, or any visual storytelling that captures the spirit of movement.

Selected films will screen during a community event featuring filmmaker networking, curated screenings, and a panel discussion with participating artists.

Submissions are free, and attendance for the event is free with RSVP. Please note that submission does not guarantee selection.

Rules & Terms

1. Eligibility & Selection
Submission does not guarantee screening. All films are reviewed by our programming team, and selections are made at their sole discretion. Films not selected will not receive individual notification unless otherwise stated. All genres accepted unless otherwise specified. Priority is placed on films that fit within the theme of the given submission cycle
2. Rights & Permissions
You confirm that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and clearances to exhibit the submitted film publicly, including music, footage, and any third-party content. You agree to indemnify Pegasus Media Project against any claims arising from the screening of your film.
3. Grant of License
By submitting, you grant Pegasus Media Project a non-exclusive license to screen your film as part of this series and to use clips, stills, trailers, and promotional materials for marketing and archival purposes.
4. No Submission Fee / No Screening Fee
This is a free submission opportunity. No entry fee is required, and no screening fees or compensation will be provided to filmmakers.
5. Technical Requirements
Accepted films must be delivered in 1080p or higher, ideally Quicktime Prores or H264. Failure to provide acceptable screening materials may result in removal from the program.
6. Attendance
Filmmakers are required to attend their screening. Pegasus Media Project is not responsible for travel or accommodation expenses.
7. Duration
Films must be 5 minutes or under.
8. Liability
Pegasus Media Project is not responsible for lost, damaged, or corrupted files. Filmmakers are advised to retain backup copies of all submitted materials.
9. Modifications
Pegasus Media Project reserves the right to modify the screening schedule, venue, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
