Wang Haibo is an emerging director and screenwriter currently living in Beijing, China. His internationally award-winning short films mainly focus on emotional violence and reveal broader social issues behind. Haibo owns different educational backgrounds including a MSE degree in computer animation, a Ph.D. degree in theater and cinema studies and an advanced study program on film directing in Beijing Film Academy, he is also a visiting scholar at the School of Cinematic Arts in the University of Southern California. Wang Haibo is currently working on a feature film script related to emotional violence and developing his own fiction novels which are supposed to be published in the near future.
