Paul Van der Stegen is a young director from Lyon, France. After directing two short films with the support of the director of the On Vous Ment festival, he directed Bestiaire, his first produced short film, at the age of 16. He explores themes such as adolescence, the father-son relationship, social exclusion and is currently writing his next film, in collaboration with Mathieu Landais (The Smell of Us, 2014).
