Paul has been making films since films were shot on film, cutting Super-8 with a razor and taping edits together. He studied screenwriting and film production at The School of Visual Arts, and later stage direction and acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, where he met his wife and creative partner Jade Schuyler. After his feature project Wasted stalled in post-production and was never completed, Paul returned to the east coast to raise his family and try his hand as a restauranteur with the movie-themed Box Office Cafe. After a decade of success with that, both he and Jade felt the gravitational pull of moviemaking calling them back. They sold their restaurant in 2015, and dove back into acting and creating. RUNNER marks their official return to what they love doing most.
