Paul Petersen is an Academy Award Qualified filmmaker born in Omaha, Nebraska. He had the opportunity to move to Germany in the 5th grade up until he graduated from high school as an Air Force brat. This experience gave him an overall worldly viewpoint of telling a story. For him perspective is everything when it comes to pursuing truth in any story.

He received a concentrated BFA in Acting Degree from the University of South Dakota in 2009. From there he spent time in New York City, where he studied under the prestigious Lenore Dekoven who wrote the highly acclaimed book on directing actors titled, "Changing Direction." After his stint in New York City, he move to Los Angeles, CA where he wrote and produced several shorts including the award-winning film: The Beacon.
Since that time he has teamed up with his better half of producing, Alexander Jeffery. Together, they have produced short films including: The Bespoke Tailoring of Mister Bellamy, MEMOIR, An Aria for Albrights, and Girl Steals Painting. MEMOIR had premiered on the science fiction platform DUST and is currently being expanded into a feature film. The Bespoke Tailoring of Mister Bellamy Qualified for the Academy Awards in 2017. An Aria for Albrights starred the opera sensation Laura Bretan who was a finalist on America's Got Talent.
He's a Nebraska Cornhusker through and through, which isn't much of an accolade this 2018 season, but he believes in them regardless. He appreciates the process to grow and evolve. He whole-heartedly believes in the rollercoaster process of making a film and has learned over time why he loves movies... to communicate with pictures.
