Pasquale Fresegna was born the 8th August 1993 in San Giorgio a Cremano, a small town in Naples (Italy) area, then he moved at 4 in Casalnuovo di Napoli, 200 metres near the municipal Cinema, and since 16 he dreams to be a film writer and director
He studied Visual Arts at University of Salerno (honors degree, 2015), Cinema and Television at Suor Orsola Benincasa University in Naples (post-graduated diploma, 2019), Film writing at Asci School of Cinema in Naples (private school, 2019) and he is one exam to complete the MA in Cinema at Naples Fine Arts Academy
After some amateur videos with his friends, he debuted on short film sets as Production Ass. of "Amal - Le ali della libertà" (2016), then he started to work as Script Supervisor in 2017 (first two project: "La solitudine dell'attore" and "Mai dire mai") and finally he made his first experiences on feature film in 2019, with the double role of 3rd Ass. Director on "Il Fronte Interno" and Production Assistant on "Querido Fidel"

At 25 he debuted as director with "Rapemento", a super-short film written, filmed and edited in the last day of Kino Napoli 2018, that gave him the first award of his career, winning the Special Jury Award at E-Fest Festival 2019
His first project give him the possibility to shot a video for the Procida Film Festival 2019, film another super-short at Kino Napoli ("Federico Fellini doesn't like Pop Music", award winner at Naples Cinema and Psychoanalysis Festival, selected at Catanzaro ReFF Festival) and work as screenwriter for Hammerhead Film Production untill august 2020
In late 2020 he was selected as writer and director of "Fino al Mare", short-film produced by Art. 33 and set in San Giovanni a Teduccio, Naples. The project was completed in Feb. 2022 after some delays for Covid but immediately was selected in multiples international film festivals: Benevento Cinema and Television, Cefalù Film Festival, Marano spot Ragazzi, Lisbon Girando, Swiff USA and WAG Film Festival in Tuscany. The San Giovanni a Teduccio fairly-tale won in 2022 both the Premio Penisola Sorrentina (best short film) and the Milan Absurd Film Festival (best Italian short) and got a double final at Tulipani di Seta Nera 2023, RAI (Italian National Television) Short Film Festival
Since he started to study at Naples Fine Arts Academy he tried new languages in some of his new works, creating "J", an AR-series, with other students and the micro-short "Easter Bunny" that got selected by International 7Siff as one of the best 7-seconds short film of 2021
Since the 2020 he is WGA - Writers Guild Italy's Wivaio member and from 2022 he is also listed as Playwriter thank to "Cavalleria Vesuviana", a musical produced by Officine San Carlo (Teatro di San Carlo, Naples) based on "Cavalleria Rusticana" (premiere opened on the evening of 1st July 2022 at Vigliena Officine San Carlo)
