NAMED ONE OF THE BEST GENRE FEST IN THE WORLD BY MOVIEMAKER MAGAZINE IN 2019, 2020 and 2021!

Our 2022 event will once again be both a hybrid and in-theater theater experience along with a virtual online festival.

Join us as we bring the Panic! to Kansas City. Held in the historic Screenland Armour theater our film festival features horror, thriller and sci-fi films.

Some of the films we debuted in previous festivals include Elijah Wood’s Maniac remake, What We Do in the Shadows (North American Debut), Vicious Fun (U.S. Premiere) Dark Was the Night and many more.

In addition to our feature film lineup we also host a short film showcases that attendees vote for the best of fest. Our festival features live podcast shows (Last Podcast on the Left, Movie Crypt, Generation Why and Cult Podcast.) and Q&A sessions after select films.

Take a break from the action and check out some of our amazing vendors or vintage arcade games.

All of this brought to you by Screenland Theaters in collaboration with DownrightCreepy.com

  • Here's a secret about Panic Fest--screen here and it will actually generate real, thoughtful film reviews. They work at attracting press with the filmmaker in mind. Did I also mention they rock?

  • The Creeping Film

It was a pleasure for us to bring The Creeping to Panic Fest for its World Premiere. The Screenland Armour is a beautiful cinema and was totally worth the trip from London. Tim and Adam do an amazing job running the festival and are super supportive of all the filmmakers. We went on to win Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Indie Film in the Audience Awards, so our first festival couldn't have gone much better. Thanks guys!!

Submitted to Panic Fest because I loved the t-shirt design, which is not nothing! Seriously though, excellent group of like-minded film fans running this one. You can tell by how they program and the welcoming and fun vibe they create. We will be back, both as filmmakers and fans. Thanks, Tim and Adam!
