Our 2023 event will once again be both a hybrid and in-theater theater experience along with a virtual online festival.

In-Person Festival: April 13 - 19 (Screenland Armour)
Virtual Festival: April 14 - 23 (Eventive / Gather)

Join us as we bring the Panic! to Kansas City. Held in the historic Screenland Armour theater our film festival features horror, thriller and sci-fi films.

Some of the films we debuted in previous festivals include Elijah Wood’s Maniac remake, What We Do in the Shadows (North American Debut), Vicious Fun (U.S. Premiere) Dark Was the Night and many more.

In addition to our feature film lineup we also host a short film showcases that attendees vote for the best of fest. Our festival features live podcast shows (Last Podcast on the Left, Movie Crypt, Generation Why and Cult Podcast.) and Q&A sessions after select films.

Take a break from the action and check out some of our amazing vendors or vintage arcade games.

One of the best festival's I've been to with my short 7 MINUTES IN HELL. The theater is beautiful! The filmmakers and staff I met were all great. Of all the festivals to make the trip for, this is the one.

We were thrilled to have our short, CREEPER, premiere at Panic Fest 2022 among so many other wonderful films! Tim is a terrific communicator as well as a curator. Panic Fest draws tremendous publicity, and our film received a glowing review from We could not be happier with Panic Fest, and we can't wait to be back!

  • One of my favorite fests. In the select group I’d make it out for purely as a fan even if I didn’t have a project screening. Awesome independent venue, great lineup and guests, and a lot of filmmakers in attendance to network with.

  • Here's a secret about Panic Fest--screen here and it will actually generate real, thoughtful film reviews. They work at attracting press with the filmmaker in mind. Did I also mention they rock?
