Pamela Perrine is an American actor, writer, director, and producer, known for her socially conscious storytelling in film. Born in New Mexico and raised in Georgia, she founded The Hawk Swoops Productions in 2018 to maintain creative control over her projects and bring attention to issues like mental health and family dynamics. She gained national recognition for The Journeyman (2019), a short film that explores themes of mental health and maternal love. This project which stars Jay Mohr (Jerry Maguire, Suicide Kings), received various awards and nominations at festivals including Vail Film Festival, Portland Film Festival, and Rome International Film Festival, among others. Pamela's work often addresses moral dilemmas and redemption, aiming to change hearts "one scene at a time." Other notable works include her directorial debut, award-winning, Angels in Rocket Field (2018), starring Michael Abbott Jr. (Killers of the Flower Moon, The Death of Dick Long) and critically acclaimed, Lunch Hour with the President (2020), both of which highlight her directorial vision and storytelling mastery, the latter was nominated for best short film at Academy Award-qualifying, St. Louis International Film Festival. Pamela is also an advocate for greater representation of women in the film industry, and actively participates in initiatives to elevate female voices in cinema, especially throughout the Atlanta Film Community. She currently has two films in development, which she hopes should start production Fall 2025.
