In this 10th edition of the Pambujan International Film Festival, we will touch and teach the public with inspirational films. For this, we will be accepting films about Health, Wealth, and Spirituality.

This is the first film festival in Eastern Visayas launched in 2009 with its banner 1st Pambujan Pelikula Para sa Publiko (Films for the Public). For its 4th edition in 2012, it metamorphosed into the Pambujan Film Festival. It had its hiatus in 2014 for restructuring. In 2021 for its 7th edition, it goes international, giving more variety of films to the public.

Pambujan is a developing town in the Eastern Philippines. The films you submit and the entry fees you pay will help encourage and educate the community to unleash their potential in art. Mahibaro Mag-inop (Dare to Dream) is the festival's motto, pushing people to develop their artistry instead of mere observers.

Rules & Terms

1. You must own the rights or have permission from the owner to submit the film.
2. Films previously submitted to the PAMBUJAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL are NOT eligible for consideration.
3. All Foreign films that are not in the English language must have English subtitles.
4. Not all the submissions are selected for the official competition. Our Judges are free to make their own choices and no answers will be given about not selected films.
5. 10th PAMBUJAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL can consider any film to be disqualified if the content is inappropriate.
6. The selected entries will be screened during the Festival program.
7. The selection and scheduling of all films screened at PAMBUJAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2022 is entirely at the discretion of the Festival Director and the programming team. In the event of unseen circumstances, it may be necessary to reschedule the event to a later date but notification will be provided to all selected filmmakers. No refunds (other than if we cancel the entire event) are possible after entering your work into the festival submissions process.
8. The applicants (submitters) must accept PAMBUJAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2022 Rules and Terms.
9. By submitting your film, you authorized PAMBUJAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2022 to exhibit your film to the public. Use, distribute, and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis, and movie stills on our social media.
10. Eastern Visayan film submitters should be from/by Region 8 filmmakers (origin or descent).
11. Iranian submitters must limit their submissions to three (3) films.

    I am deeply grateful to the festival and the jury for recognizing my work. My film begins in a Korea that was still healing—poor, wounded, and trying to survive after war. Yet even then, people shared what little they had—especially family and neighbors. I wanted to bring back that warmth, because it is part of who we are. Thank you for giving this story a place to be heard and felt.
