Palenque International Film Festival
promotes, preserves and honors Maya Culture, as well as other Historical Cultures around the World. The Festival also welcomes all type of Films, primarily films related to Archeology, History, Astronomy, Natural Sciences, Research, Exploration, Human and Social Sciences. Also Fiction Drama, Sci Fiction.

This 3rd Edition the Festival will be happening
in San Cristobal de las Casas , in Centro Cultural Carlos Jurado
and at the Museum of Palenque
the dates are as follows May 18,19,20,21 of 2027
Starting at 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Rules & Terms

All International Films if possible are required to have Spanish Translations included or at least English translations, if you wish to have a preference for screening time.

Festival Team and its administration are a totally Independent organization,
not aligned to any political, not to any religious, not to any ideology or organization.

Professional behavior is required at all times, right after your submission, during and after the Festival.
