Palcoscenici Creativi is an event about community creativity in all its forms. Several experts and practitioners from many creative fields participate in the event. For the organizers, the meaning of creativity is as expressed by Annamaria Testa in her book “La trama lucente”:

"Creativity is something new that produces something good for the community that recognizes its value."

Not only “creativity” on the artistic-aesthetic level but a creativity that connects with value and community.

For the 2024 edition, it held an audiovisual competition on the concept of creativity as understood by the event, with three categories: short films, documentaries, and AI-generated audiovisuals.

Rules & Terms

In the short film section means any audiovisual under 15 minutes in length (animation, narrative, live action, experimental); mp4 format; Color or black and white; With dialogue or without dialogue (dialogue must be subtitled in English).

In the documentary section means any audiovisual under 30 minutes in length; mp4 format; Color or black and white;

In the AI-generated audiovisual section, this means any audiovisual under 10 minutes in length (animation, narrative, music video clip, experimental); mp4 format; Color or black and white; With dialogue or without dialogue (dialogue must be subtitled in English) with video clips generated primarily through AI (in this case it will be necessary to indicate the platform used).

Only the person submitting the short film will be eligible to participate in this competition.

The jury, at its sole discretion, will provide 3 prizes:
Best Photography
Best short film
Best Documentary
Best audiovisual generated through AI

Participation in the competition is free of charge. Audiovisuals must be submitted by March 20, 2024.

Winners will be mentioned in the section of the Veneto Region website dedicated to the Project Success Stories and will also be presented during the final event of Venetian Stages.
