Outwith Festival Short Film Night is open for submissions!

Outwith has always featured an ambitious and entertaining film programme and has attracted some brilliant filmmakers to come and talk about their work. This year is no exception. In our inaugural short film festival we are looking for a selection of brilliant, original, UK-made short films to be screened at a film night on 10 September in Dunfermline. The evening will also feature a Q&A with film maker Cora Bissett and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers in the city's creative hub, The Fire Station. We can't wait!

Outwith is an award winning, friendly music and arts festival that springs to life every September in the small but mighty city of Dunfermline. The 5 day long event was founded in 2017 and is run by volunteers. Outwith showcases emerging bands alongside established acts and brings quality cultural experiences to Scotland’s newest city. Outwith now attracts local, national and international visitors and has become an eagerly anticipated event in Scotland’s cultural calendar.

If selected, your film will be screened at the Outwith Festival Short Film Night on 10 September in Dunfermline. The Film Night will be promoted on the Outwith website, programme and social media.
