Ope Ayoola is a Nigerian filmmaker and founder of Nova Film Works, a creative production company dedicated to telling diverse African stories through film, documentary, and branded content.
Ope’s work spans a range of formats, including narrative shorts, music visuals, and commercial storytelling, blending cinematic craftsmanship with a strong sense of cultural identity. With experience directing and producing content for brands, emerging artists, and corporate clients, Ope’s films are characterized by authentic storytelling, strong visuals, and emotional resonance.
He is passionate about preserving African narratives for future generations and is currently pursuing further specialization in film culture and archival studies through the prestigious DAAD program.
Ope’s recent projects include a documentary series spotlighting women's economic empowerment and visual content development for artist Dele Ayoola’s Astronaut in a Garden project. His mission is to connect local stories with global audiences through compelling, meaningful cinema.
