Olivia Ellis (she/her) is a 20-year-old director, producer, and emerging talent from Hamilton, ON. As a bold new voice in independent cinema, Olivia’s work explores real-life experiences through fresh perspectives, delving into the complexities of the human experience and its varying interpretations. She grounds her storytelling in authenticity and reflection.
She is best known for her short film There Goes The Bride (2024), which earned a Bronze in Film Direction at The One Club for Creativity’s Young Ones Student Awards in New York City—a recognition that highlights her creative vision and emotional insight. The film has since screened at festivals across Ontario and beyond, including the 2025 Oakville Film Festival, the 2025 Hamilton Film Festival, and the 2025 Chilliwack Independent Film Festival.
