Brisbane-born and Paris-based actor Oliver Cameron began his career on the stage, appearing in close to 20 theatre productions before branching out to film. Since then, he has starred in countless short and feature-length films, leaning towards unique characters and memorable projects. Recently, Cameron played the lead role of troubled teen Kesson in the upcoming drama feature Hood Safari which was shot entirely on Hi-8 and Mini DV tape. Later that year, he played the lead role of struggling US actor Antony Bogarde in the 16mm surrealist-drama feature Phillip Philadelphia. He has trained with Queensland Theatre and various esteemed acting coaches including Miranda Harcourt and Christopher Sommers, the latter of whom he acted alongside in the award-winning short film The Trip.
A filmmaker himself, Cameron has written and directed several short films of his own and supplements his filmmaking with writing, having released a selection of short-stories.
Cameron moved to Paris in 2024 and speaks English and French alongside being a classically trained singer and pianist with his own solo and group projects.
