The Oklahoma Student Film Challenge is a FREE Filmmaking Contest for all Oklahoma High School and Career Tech Students, presented by Clean Shorts Film Festival.
This year OSFC is honoring the memory of Charlie Blessington. Charlie Blessington was my student at EOC Tech and a loved member of the Clean Shorts Film Festival family. In December of 2020, Charlie took his own life. He left a huge whole in our class, family and community. He is deeply missed.
We want to use this platform to encourage others to seek help in their time of need, because You Matter!
The challenge for Oklahoma High School and Career Tech Students is to create a 30-60 second Suicide Prevention Public Service Announcement, using the theme “You Matter”.
Submissions will be scored by the team at Clean Shorts Film Festival. The Top 10 submissions will be presented to Charlies Family for final voting.
The winning submission will receive a $500 Scholarship from the Charles Michael Blessington Foundation.
