Oisín Moroney is a Dublin-born Writer/Director and a recent Graduate of Technical University Dublin’s Film & Broadcasting programme. He has directed 5 short films as a student since 2021 and worked across Drama and Documentary.
He has a passion for storytelling, using the language of film as an audio-visual medium to immerse audiences in the unique perspectives that each film requires to deliver its story. From delving deep into subjective perspective of specific characters, to acknowledging the audience as an ever-present observer, each film is a new experience to uncover.
His documentary short film ‘Looking for the Light’ was selected for DIFF’s First Frame competition in 2024. His newest short film ‘Ribbit’ was part of 2025’s TUD GradX screenings.
