OTOXO has been the launchpad for emerging filmmakers for over a decade, with our participants going on to direct and produce films for the like of Netflix, Amazon, BBC, Channel 4, PBS, CBC, HotDocs, Sheffield DocFest, DocsBarcelona, FIPADOC.
Our goal is to develop the next generation of talent across the world of documentary through our programmes festivals and events.
OTOXO·DOX is an annual festival hosted in Barcelona every autumn, to help filmmakers take a huge step on that journey.
OTOXODOX: Best Documentary Short Winner
In addition to being screened at the live event, the director of the winning film will win a free, face to face consultation from the directors of OTOXO productions, offering creative advice and industry strategy for this or their next project. The film will also be hosted for 3 months on the OTOXO Player. The director will also receive 4 free passes to the festival event, and a 10% discount to OTOXO's intensive training programmes.
