Oleksandr Viktorovich Dol, better known by his pseudonym Osnovatel, was born on October 28, 1988, in the city of Bolgrad, Odessa region, Ukraine. He is a Ukrainian rap artist, songwriter, music producer, and event organizer in the hip-hop scene. Oleksandr is known as the lead vocalist of the group “Perelom” and was previously a member of the group “13th District.” His name is well known on the music scene in southern Ukraine.

Oleksandr spent his childhood and youth in Bolgrad. His father served in the Airborne Forces, and his mother was an entrepreneur. From an early age, he was drawn to music, particularly rap and hip-hop culture, which later became the foundation of his professional path. He graduated from Bolgrad Lyceum No. 4 in 2006 and gradually began exploring musical creativity.

As a teenager, he created his first group called “3 stars,” performing under the pseudonym “Svyashchennik.” This experience gave him his first skills in writing lyrics, working with rhythm, and performing on stage. Later, the group evolved into “13th District,” where Oleksandr performed as MC SEP. The group gained recognition locally through participation in city events and released tracks. At the same time, Oleksandr was developing his solo work, recording songs that would later become part of his repertoire.

In 2014, Oleksandr married Zhanna Dol (Pilipchuk). The couple had three children — David, Emmanuel, and Nicole. Despite family responsibilities, he continued to actively develop his musical career.

In 2019, “13th District” changed its name to “Perelom.” This gave the group new momentum and allowed them to reach a wider audience. That same year, the album “The Power of Words” was released, and collaborations with other Ukrainian rap artists began. The group gained attention beyond the region with the release of the track “Illusion of Freedom”, which also had a music video.

Since 2021, Oleksandr and “Perelom” have been working with the 100pro label. As part of this collaboration, they recorded tracks with well-known artists from the CIS hip-hop scene, including Vlad Valov (Master Sheff) and Albert Krasnov from Bad Balance.

In addition to music, Oleksandr organizes festivals and events. In 2019, he initiated the international festival “BadBalanceOpenRap-2019” in Odessa, and in 2020 the event was expanded and renamed “RapMania 2020.” Later, he founded the label “United Perelom”, bringing together artists, producers, and DJs to promote hip-hop culture and support emerging performers.

Today, Osnovatel continues to record new tracks, participate in collaborations, and perform at festivals. His music remains direct and honest, reflecting his commitment to keeping hip-hop alive, relevant, and close to listeners.
