OSLO SHORT CUTS international short film festival is designed as a new cinema platform for Norwegian, European and international filmmakers to share their short films stories and creative film productions with audiences from Oslo;

We come to OSLO with the best short films selections from Europe, Nordics and from all around the world!!!

Festival is presenting a professional international short film event to wide Oslo audiences aiming to screen around 100 newest professional contemporary short films from more than 30 different countries;

We invite filmmakers and short films producers from around the world to submit their short films entries to our festival;

We are here for the promotion of SHORT FILM FORMAT to traditional as well as new audiences in OSLO, capital of NORWAY;

Festival offers Oslo audiences a window into the coolest contemporary creative short films productions from Norway, Europe and across the world;

Rules & Terms

We accept short films productions of all genres (animation, fiction, documentary, experiment, music, dance) completed after 2020;

All films under 30 min. in all genres will be considered;

Please upload a digital screener to FilmFreeway;

Eligible formats for screening copies of selected films to be screened during the festival is .MP4 or .MOV files ready for professional cinema screenings;

Screening copy must be in English or subtitled in English;

No screening fee for selected films;

By submitting the film, you agree to the screening of the film at the festival, if the film is selected into final programmings;

Only films submitted with properly paid and covered official entry fees will be considered for final programming selections;

All entry fees are non-refundable;
