ORION International Film Festival is dedicated to finding original thought-provoking films which push the boundaries of storytelling.
The festival features a broad range of genres catering for many filmmakers. Founded in Australia the ORION International Film Festival is an awards event with live screenings aimed at recognising original and inspiring films created by established, independent, and new filmmakers. ORION IFF aims to recognise and empower filmmakers across the Globe.
Officially selected films and winners will be decided by an industry panel. All entries are judged based on 6 key areas: Originality, Production Values, Cinematography, Performances, Editing, and Sound Design.

All film submissions will be considered for Best Australian Film & Best International Film.
All Selected and Winning films will receive ORION IFF Official Laurels.
Films must have been completed between 2016 to 2019.
If selected, films must be available for download via FilmFreeway, Vimeo Screener, MyAirBridge, or Dropbox.
All non-English language films must have English language subtitles.
Submissions must be uploaded and submitted no later than the deadline date to qualify for the respective entry fees. Late submission will not be accepted after the final submission deadline.
Short excerpts or trailers can be displayed on the ORION website for publicity. Films will not be shown in their entirety.
Digital press kits should include:
At least three publicity stills from the film.
At least three screenshots from the film.
Stills must be submitted by email clearly labeled with film title.
Film Poster 1500px long side and 72dpi
Full production credits and director’s biography.
Film synopsis – Up to 100 Words.
30 second Trailer (if available).
