I'm a writer, director, and animator based in Delhi, currently focused on building Big Eyes Long Nose (BELN), the animation studio I co-founded in September 2025.

Storytelling started early for me. At twelve, I was the kid obsessed with writing poems and getting lost in books like Peter Pan and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Those stories taught me that worlds don't always have to follow real-life rules.

My curiosity led me to study Astrophysics. I saw stars and galaxies as a grand, beautiful story, and I finished my degree because the universe genuinely fascinated me. However, the mathematics was often overwhelming, and I soon realised I wanted to explore beauty and wonder outside of complex equations.

While I was studying the universe, I was also writing all the time. Short stories, character fragments, and new world ideas. I realised that writing was just as important to me as science. Since I needed to earn money, I tried Advertising next, thinking all writing was the same. That detour quickly became transactional and draining, feeling painfully distant from genuine, moving stories. Leaving that world was the first true act of reclaiming my voice.

Animation was the final piece. Seeing films like Gints Zilbalodis’s Flow showed me that building a powerful world didn't require perfect drawing skill. Rotoscoping became the key, letting me combine imagination, feeling, and movement in an honest way.

That honesty is the foundation of Big Eyes Long Nose (BELN). We built BELN on curiosity and experimentation, specialising in weird, poetic, and reflective worlds.

I find inspiration everywhere: in the beautiful, heavy writing of Toni Morrison, the deep themes of faith and fear in The Exorcist, and the imaginative warmth of Guillermo del Toro.

My goal is simple: to keep making films, share them globally, and stay endlessly in love with storytelling. I am currently focused on building BELN with multiple animated short-films and a YouTube series.
