Director and Filmmaker, Pioneering Storytelling
Nour, a Palestinian-Jordanian film director, immersed herself in humanitarian issues, collaborating with NGOs in Jordan, Malaysia, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen. Transitioning from an engineering background to media and communications in 2016, Nour is dedicated to crafting stories through films and photos that shed light on the struggles of refugees, the displaced, the violent, the disabled, and those in need.
A film studies graduate, Nour embarked on her cinematic journey in Egypt in 2022, captivated by the enchanting allure of filmmaking. Following her studies, she directed her debut short film, "Nadia," which highlights a woman's ordeal due to forced marriage. Nadia, whose name signifies generosity and hopefulness, becomes the sacrifier for the one she loves. The narrative unfolds as a compelling tale woven from a series of events and characters encapsulated within Nadia's character.
