Rules & Terms

IMGN.AI x NOT FILM FEST SCREENPLAY COMPETITION
OFFICIAL RULES & ELIGIBILITY

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
✓ Original & Unproduced Works Only
• Screenplays must be submitted in English language
• Maximum length: 20 pages (excluding title page)
• Must be original work with no copyright infringements
• Open to both U.S. and international submissions
• Screenplays must remain unproduced throughout the competition

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
✓ Production Book (Mandatory)
• Created exclusively using IMGN.AI software in the 5 days window
• Must include:
- Schedule
- Budget breakdown (for a total of $5,000)
- Department Reports
- Locations Tables
- Locations summaries and images
- Characters tables
- Visual storyboard
• Production Book Submission deadline: September 8th, 2025
• All materials must be submitted in a single google drive folder following the instruction provided by the festival

WINNER OBLIGATIONS
✓ Production Requirements
• $5,000 award must be used for film production
• A detailed expense report is required with final film submission
• English subtitles mandatory (including English-language films)
• Must secure all rights for:
- Music
- Images
- Additional content

SUBMISSION PROCESS
1. Entry Method
• Submit via FilmFreeway platform only
• Complete all required entry forms
• Accept competition terms and conditions

2. Selection Process
• Shortlisted finalists will be notified
• Finalist questionnaire must be completed
• Selection committee review
• Three (3) Winners announced at Award Ceremony

3. Rights & Warranties
By submitting, you confirm:
• Full authority to enter and grant rights
• Original work ownership
• Permission for all third-party materials
• Proper releases from all contributors
• All payments to contributors completed
• Content free from defamation claims

4. Premiere & Exhibition Rights
• Winning films must have their world premiere at Not Film Fest
• Festival reserves screening and promotional rights

5. Disqualification Terms
• Festival maintains right to disqualify non-compliant entries
• Shortlisted projects may be liable for festival expenses if disqualified

6. Legal Framework
• Entrants responsible for shipping costs and customs
• Festival not liable for loss or damage
• Additional documentation may be requested
• All international duties/taxes paid by sender
