In his artistic work, he examines, analyzes, and engages with various aspects of public space and also focuses on fringe phenomena in nature through a documentary process.
By adding, distorting, and recycling, he highlights forgotten grievances, documents the absurd and the trivial, or explores media unfamiliar to him. Found objects from public space – in the form of material studies, film, photographs, social or performative practices, or visual materials – are introduced into new contexts to offer viewers fresh perspectives, which can be at times challenging or relaxing.
He focuses on noticeable features, whether natural or societal, that appear in isolation and explores the interactions between infrastructure and architecture, as well as cultural and capitalist interests or needs. At the same time, he sheds light on formal structures and aesthetic aspects.
Starting from investigative, documentary research phases, he develops both installation-based, material-precise, as well as performative works in film and photographs. These are presented as interventions in public spaces but also in conceptual exhibitions.
