Born and raised on a Black Country council estate, James Noir had ambitions since a young age. For as long as he can recall, his first love has always lay with acting. The majority of James's adolescence were spent embedded in his own mind, where he would create different characters, scenarios and stories using his strange but wild imagination - a habit which still remains with him in the present.

As a teenager, he nurtured himself with the knowledge of different aspects of the entertainment industry, collecting a passion for poetry and literature and excelling in Drama.

Fuelled with drive and determination, James has gained over a decade's worth of experience in different parts of the entertainment industries; including film, television, theatre and music. He obtained a degree in Theatre and Performance Practice from The University of Salford in 2019. He now writes and produces his own films on the side of his acting career with 'Noir Pictures', a production company he co-founded with his partner Kelsey Mowat, an award-winning producer.
