No Bounds SFF is a festival of short films that was born from a very specific idea to promote "Beauty" through the seventh art, without any geographical, genre or style limits.
Shorts represent, in our opinion,one of the best means of communication, endowed with maximum freedom of expression with a disruptive and incisive effect.
The anarchy of themes, modes, and stylistic choices, strikes directly at the heart of the viewer, condensing so many and such emotions into a few minutes as to prompt reflection and introspection.

Rules & Terms

The third edition of the No Bounds Short Film Fest will be divided into four categories:

- Fiction Short Movies (for Italian and international filmmakers)
- Documentary Short Movies (for Italian and international filmmakers)
- Animation Short Movies (for Italian and international filmmakers)
- Sicilian Short Movies (only Sicilian directors or films set in Sicily can participate in this category)

IMPORTANT:
During the selection phase, all short films - except those in Italian - must be submitted with English subtitles, including English language acting. Films without English subtitles will not be considered for selection.
Once the foreign short films have been selected, the directors and/or distributors will be responsible for providing Italian subtitles; therefore, the outcome will be communicated well in advance.
The selected films, if they do not have Italian subtitles, will be excluded from the festival.

The maximum length of films must be 20 minutes, not including end credits.
