The Night of Fear Festival was created with the support of The Little Warriors Foundation. Aside from being a fully comprehensive Halloween festival with many events and activities including a haunted house, an escape room, a vampire ball and more.

It has grown to become a full-fledge film festival to support not just the local film community, but the horror genre films from all over the world at large as well as bring more awareness to The Little Warriors foundation.

So what is the Little Warriors?
Little Warriors is a national, charitable organization based in Canada committed to the awareness, prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.

Since this is the first year for our humble festival, we continue to build our prize inventory and this section will be updated as we add more.

PLEASE NOTE* All films that are accepted will be judged by s select number of juries and the audience award will be voted on by the audience via paper ballets.

Rules & Terms

1. Films must be short films
2. Must be categorized as horror
3. If chosen you will need to submit a downloadable link to your film.
4. To receive your prize, you must be in attendance.
*If you are unable to attend, we will still be able to screen your film, you will just not be eligible for prizes.
5. Films must be high resolution.
6. If your film is selected, you will be notified by email, and will need your RSVP.
7. With the high number of submissions, we can give feedback, but it may take a while.

You are confirming and allowing the Night of Fear Festival to showcase your film through out the duration of the festival. We will not share your information or films with any other third parties without your approval. You agree that you are the filmmaker of these films, and have full authority to release them to us.

    Had a great time at the first Night of Fear Festival. Will definitely go again next year. There were some excellent horror themed short films. Also, a great deal for filmmakers to enter.

    This is a small festival with a big heart. The hard-working festival team really cares about genre films and filmmakers and I was impressed by the diverse, strong programming.
    Well, and I'm thrilled that our THE SUBURBANIGHT received the Best Villain award.
