Nicola Schito is an Italian Film Director and AI Filmmaker based in Milan. A graduate of the Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti and the Scuola Holden, he works across narrative cinema, documentary filmmaking, and emerging forms of audiovisual storytelling.
His short films have been screened and awarded at international film festivals, exploring themes that combine social observation, visual experimentation, and contemporary culture. Alongside his independent work, he has developed a strong background in cinematic storytelling through collaborations with international brands and production companies, refining a visual approach that bridges auteur sensibilities and innovative production techniques.
In recent years, Nicola Schito has focused on integrating artificial intelligence into the filmmaking process, exploring new creative workflows and visual languages while maintaining a strong cinematic foundation rooted in directing, photography, and storytelling.
He is a Board Member of AIR3 – Associazione Italiana Registi, actively contributing to initiatives that support and promote the role of directors within the Italian film industry.
