Ned Caderni (b. 1996) is a London-based writer and director working across fiction, documentary, and moving image. His films often explore grief, alienation, digital intimacy, and the uncanny spaces between realism and genre.
His short films Hey Katie and This Film is Not Yet Titled both screened at the BIFA-qualifying Kino London and were featured on their Short of the Week platform. In 2021, his film Light Fantastic won Best Film at the Reale Film Festival in Milan. Alongside his independent work, he has directed commercial projects for UNIT9.
He recently completed his debut feature film, Worm, a black-and-white folk horror set in Anglesey and currently screening on the festival and microcinema circuit. His wider work draws inspiration from slow cinema, internet folklore, and European art-house traditions.
Alongside directing, Ned works as a creative, researcher, editor, and story producer across film, television and podcasts. Most recently, he spent a year working on the docu-drama The Unknown Chefs, which premiered on Apple TV+ and Prime Video in late 2025.
