Nazareno Lavorato was born in October 1989, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of La Recoleta, Bs. As., Argentina. He trained as an actor from his 16 years with teachers like Raúl Serrano, Agustín Alezzo, Liliana Popovich, Lito Cruz, Eugenia Levin, Sabrina Kirzner, Alejandra Aristegui, Fernando Sureda, Alejandra Mistral, Alejandro Bazán and Rodolfo Ramirez, among others.
As an actor he worked on 17 plays, mostly in theaters of the commercial circuit of Av. Corrientes, Bs. As., Obtaining outstanding reviews, among them, Paparazzi magazine, Reflex Mag and Veamas Magazine. He also acted in video clips for the Bands: García López Rock, Juan Galvis, Guardia Vieja and Pehuén Innocenti Blues. He also collaborated in the script, direction and performance for Ideas del Sur projects led by Juan Pablo Martínez. In addition, he participated actorally in more than 20 film productions, among them, in series like Like, and Sapos, the latter produced by Palermo Films and competing in international festivals, he played in La Fuga Carlos García, former detainee and fugitive of the Mansion Seré during the dictatorship of 1977, issued by Canal Encuentro. In 2016 he starred in the award-winning film La Mettrie in Costa Rica and festivals in Buenos Aires. In 2018 he appeared in the Peculiar Feature Film premiered at the INCAA complexes of Rosario and La Plata, and currently competes in National and European festivals.
Trained in the field of Dramaturgy at the U.B.A. University of Buenos Aires since his adolescence with Gerardo Yoel, Augusto Mazarelli and Lior Zylberman, at INCAA with Cesar Guzzo and Ariel Carranza, and later with Agustina Gatto at the Guion Laboratory, in 2015 he is producing Feature Films and TV with Nicolás Batlle at CIC Cinematographic Research Center, where he also developed in other modalities of the house referred to the script and the direction.
A Sudden Flash of Light is his first feature as a director.
