The epiphany of art is the making of a film; embodying all the great artforms is what makes a movie a piece of art.
Nathan Pupo-Greene (below) - He/They - is a 24-year-old queer filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Tio'tia:ke - Montreal (Canada). As they pursue an MFA in Cinematic Arts at Concordia University, their passion for cinema stems from a strong belief in which it encompasses all other art forms, offering audiences an immersive and multisensory experience, in line with their surrealist artistic approach.
A musician since childhood, Nathan has a deep connection with sounds, whether harmonious or dissonant. His artistic work is distinguished by a meticulous exploration of the relationship between sound and image. With sensitivity, they tackle themes of sexuality and surrealism, aiming to evoke sensory overstimulation in the audience.
